Day 37 - Ghillies

Love to watch my daughter improve her Irish Dance, still not sure how they should be tied. Kit lens at 126mm. 0.3 second F/5.6, ISO 200 (should have bumped my ISO for a faster shutter speed). #photoaday #Project365 #IrishDance #Ghillies

Day 36 - Stairs

This year I have made a conscious decision to take the stairs. Why? It's a free workout, It improves cardiovascular fitness and (in my mind) counts towards 30 minutes of exercise a day. If you are in an office and the copy room is two floors up, take the stairs. 28mm JCPenny Lens, 1/6 seconds, F4, ISO 800 #photoaday #project365 #fitness #stairs

Day 26 - Chabot Cinema

With the huge multiplex and cost of upgrading to digital the single screen Cinema is a dying breed. There are still a few around. This is Chabot Cinema in Castro Valley, CA. Day 24 - Toy Cars

I have been wanting to try and create a fake miniature look for a while after watching a video by Gavin Hoey. Out for a walk with the dog I saw these two old cars sitting next to each other and thought they may make for a good subject. I would liked to have shot this from a higher vantage point, but think it still worked. You can find the Gavin Hoey tutorial here @Gavin_Hoey Kit lens at 31mm, 1/500 sec, F/4.5, ISO 100 #photoaday #project365 #Tiltlenseffect #car #miniature

Day 12 - Till Next Year

Day 11 - Rainbow Loom

Since Christmas, the Rainbow Loom has travelled with us (as has the Christmas Jammies song). We have bracelets everywhere. This is the loom in action. I used a 28mm JCPenny manual lens I picked up from an antique store, I think the older JCPenny branded lenses were made by Pentax. The adapter cost more than the lens. 28mm, 1.3 seconds, F/2.8, ISO 200 #photoaday #project365 #xmasjammies #rainbowloom #bracelets
